Euroline is closing its business after celebrating 40-year anniversary

Euroline, a family-owned Canadian importer of home décor, has announced it will be closing after 40 years in business.

The upcoming Toronto Gift Fair will be the company's last show. All remaining stock, including new product from 2015, will be available to buyers. 

“The decision is bittersweet," vice president Paul Borejsza told Home Accents Today. "Through the years in this industry we’ve had great relationships with our loyal staff, customers and suppliers as well as many peers in the industry throughout North America. Ultimately this is the right decision for our family.”


GroupOne Associates is carrying two new lines, SpiceBox Books and Hillhouse Naturals. SpiceBox Books is a Canadian line of craft gift sets, colouring books and more. Hillhouse Naturals is a U.S. based home fragrance line that has never been represented in Canada.


Laurie O’Halloran, from HomeStyle Magazine, has been announced as an inductee into the Canadian Hardware & Housewares Manufacturers Association (CHHMA) 2016 Industry Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame was established in 1984. To date, only 60 industry icons, inventors, business founders and builders from retail and manufacturing have received this honour.

She will be officially inducted on April 12, 2016.


Wild Prairie Soap Company, whose products are sold in more than 200 stores across Canada and internationally, was profiled on Make Something Edmonton

The creator of Beanie Babies, Ty Inc. made its first-ever TV spot for its brand new product, a line of plush animals called Peek-A-Boos.


Decorpro (Develpro Inc.) has introduced a new series of compact torches to its collection.


Rebels Refinery added Moisturizing Beard Oil to its line of men’s care products. 


Montreal-based MOLECULE-R (MMTUM Inc.) launched a new cookbook, Molecular 50 Course Meal.


Super Max the Turtle from Cloud B (distributed by Do-Gree Fashions Ltd.) was named a finalist for the 2016 Toy of the Year in the specialty category by the Toy Industry Association.

Toronto Gift Fair

  • Laurie O'Halloran from HomeStyle Magazine will be choosing her Top 10 Houseware Favourites, which will be displayed in the newly redesigned Kitchen Connection.
  • Trips East, a new category designed specifically for seasonal buyers looking for resort, tourist and souvenir items for their stores will be introduced in Hall 3 at the International Centre.
