Dear Valued Exhibitor,
It is no secret that the Quebec Gift Fair has been in steady decline in square footage and attendance over the past several years. Your Board of Directors has been committed to supporting members who found it beneficial to their businesses to keep running an event in the Quebec market, as long as it was financially feasible to do so.
At a recent meeting, the Board of Directors undertook a careful review of the show’s anticipated revenue projections and analyzed the post show survey feedback from both the exhibiting and retail communities. After a significant assessment of all of the facts, the board made the difficult decision not to run an August 2016 Quebec Gift Fair.
This is not a decision that was made in haste. To succeed, markets need to be relevant to the customers they serve and the Board did not feel the association could produce a market that would meet the needs and expectations of its constituents in August 2016.
At this point in time, the association intends to run a Spring 2017 Quebec Gift Fair, March 26 – 29, 2017.
If you are looking for a Fall market, we urge you to consider the opportunities offered by the other CanGift shows, the Toronto Gift Fair and the Alberta Gift Fair.
