We are the primary community of suppliers who sell wholesale goods to Canada's diverse retail gift, tableware, and household accessories industry. Memberships are available to manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, importers and exporters who meet the product criteria established by the CanGift Board of Directors.
Please note: Companies whose primary business functions are retail or service-based are not eligible for membership.

How do I become a member of the Canadian Gift Association?
CanGift represents the diverse suppliers of wholesale goods in Canada's retail gift, tableware and household accessories industry. Membership is available to manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, importers and exporters who meet the product criteria established by the CanGift Board of Directors. (Retail, direct-to-consumer or service-based companies are not eligible for membership.) Learn more about Membership Policies and Procedures.
How do you decide who joins?
All applications are subject to the approval of the CanGift Board of Directors, based on current acceptability criteria.
What is a Gold Membership?
Gold members access all the benefits of the Association, including voting privileges and the right to exhibit at CanGift fairs in Toronto and Alberta.
NEW POLICY: Between April 1, 2018 and April 1, 2019, CanGift is not accepting new applications for Gold membership.
What is a Silver Membership?
Silver members can participate in the Alberta Gift Fair. Until a Silver member is invited by the CanGift Board to become a Gold member, they cannot exhibit at the Toronto Gift Fair. Silver members do not hold voting privileges of any kind.
What is a Bronze Membership?
Bronze members can exhibit at the Alberta Gift Fair, but NOT the Toronto Gift Fair. Bronze members are not entitled to attend or receive notices of meetings, and do not hold voting privileges.
What are Honoured Life Members?
This special membership category is reserved for individuals (not businesses) elected by the CanGift Board in recognition of how they have promoted the gift industry as a whole.
